Comic Gong18

I’ll be at Comic Gong once again this year, with the show on this Saturday 19 May 2018. The doors open at 10AM and entry is FREE. I’ll be there manning the Trinity Comics table again with my wife, and we’ll have copies of all my novels and comics, as well as DVDs and other items at fantastic prices. Support your independent and, above all, local creators and come on down to Wollongong Town Hall and say hi. Both Jennifer and I will look forward to seeing you and having a little chat.

It should be a great show. I hope to see you there 🙂

Crossfire is back, and he has a–Vendetta!

After having been betrayed by crime boss Robert Latham, and defeated by The Wraith, Crossfire has returned to cause mayhem and carnage at every turn. His ultimate aim? The utter destruction of all his enemies, and he doesn’t care who gets in his way. Can The Wraith bring this deadly villain to justice, while being caught in the middle of a savage gang war? And who is causing the widespread depression in Metro City?

Vendetta, #5 (7th overall) in this amazing series, will excite and thrill you as never before, courtesy master storyteller Frank Dirscherl, and will be released in late 2017.

New Wraith Novel By The End Of The Year!

A new Wraith novel, Sanderson of Metro, written by Frank Dirscherl and Bobby Nash, should be out by the end of this year (or at the latest, early 2017). Detailing the never-before-told origin of the original Wraith/Paul Sanderson, this thrilling tale will captivate and excite you like nothing Trinity Comics has ever published!

We are all really excited about this novel. It will be published both in hardcover and paperback and, as previously stated, should be released by the end of 2016 or by early 2017 at the latest. The hardcover will be available ONLY on the Trinity Comics store here on the website, while the paperback will be available worldwide wherever good books are sold. An eBook will also be released on a variety of platforms.

So, get set for greatness very soon. More details will be forthcoming!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

I’d like to wish all my loyal readers/followers the very best over the Christmas/New Year period. Please have a lovely time with your friends and family and, above all, stay safe.

2016 should be a momentous year for us here at Trinity Comics, and we should have a special announcement re: an upcoming Wraith novel in January or February early next year. As well as that, work continues on my next Wraith novel, Swamp Witch of Satan’s Forest, and I’ll hopefully have that released sometime in the second half of 2016. And there should hopefully be some solid movement on The Wraith short story anthology soon, too. As I said, 2016 is looking to be a momentous year for us.

I’ll see you all here after the holidays. All the best to you all! 🙂

Swamp Witch of Satan’s Forest!

trinitycover3In my previous update, I let you all know the various projects I’m currently working on, and I informed you that amongst those various projects, the next novel to be released by Trinity Comics would be Sanderson of Metro, a story which would finally reveal the fully detailed origin of the original Wraith/Paul Sanderson. While I am still working on this novel, I’ve decided that the next novel to be released will actually be Swamp Witch of Satan’s Forest, the direct follow-up to the last novel released in the series, Cry of the Werewolf in 2012 (has it already been three years since the last novel? Time sure does fly).

The reason for this is, I’ve just had a bit of a brainwave in relation to Swamp, and it’s something that I just have to pursue before the idea and flow of it is lost. I was already quite advanced with the Swamp manuscript anyway, being five chapters into the story (further along than Sanderson, in fact), so it’s going to be a relatively easy task to just keep on with Swamp and get it finished as quickly as possible. As it’s already been three years since the previous novel, and this takes place immediately after the events of Cry of the Werewolf, I thought it best to get Swamp finished and get it out there for you, my faithful readers, to devour.

Everything going well, I would hope to have Swamp Witch of Satan’s Forest completed by the end of this year, or early next year, and then release it around the middle of 2016. Fingers crossed all does, indeed, go well. It’s been too long between books, and I wholeheartedly apologise for this delay.

Thank you and I’ll update you all again soon.

Working on a Few New Pieces!

trinitycover3Hi all. Just a quick missive to let everyone know that I’m currently working on a few new pieces, none of which is anywhere near completion as yet, but I’m happy with the quality so far. First off is the novel Sanderson of Metro, which will fully detail the never-before-told origin of the first man to wear the mantle of The Wraith, the original Paul Sanderson himself. Who he was, how he became to be Metro City’s Dread Avenger, how he met his arch nemesis the Cobra (and we’ll find out just who he is and came to be, too), how he met his right hand man Max Horton…all the answers will be forthcoming. I know we’ve briefly touched on this story before, in comics and novels, but this is the full story fully told for the very first time. Sanderson of Metro will be published in both hardcover and paperback starting (roughly) in mid-to-late 2016.

Next to see release will be the continuing adventures of The Wraith in the regular series, #5 in the series, Swamp Witch of Satan’s Forest. This paperback novel will continue the story started in the previous novel in the series, #4, Cry of the Werewolf. On their way home from their mountain vacation which was anything but, Paul Sanderson (aka The Wraith) and his love Leena Patterson are waylaid by a mysterious cry for help, and are unwittingly drawn into the forest—and the web—of the alluring Swamp Witch. A collector of human souls, the temptress has Paul marked as her next, and greatest, victim. Can Leena save the love of her life from the thrall of this wicked creature? Can they escape the clutches of a forest seemingly possessed by the spirits of Hell itself? What does Max Horton have to do with all this? And, are things truly as they seem? Swamp Witch of Satan’s Forest will be released in paperback sometime during 2016/17.

I’m also working on some Wraith short stories for Lion’s Share Press and Airship27, and a few other non-Wraith things as well, one of which is the start of a new series, Starflame. This has been in the works for a long time, but I’ll get the first volume done eventually, rest assured. You all have to remember, Trinity Comics is essentially a one-man band, and there’s only so much free time I have to devote to my creative endeavours. So, getting all this stuff out to you takes time, sometimes a fair amount of time. I apologise for this, but there’s no way around it I’m afraid. Your patience of very much appreciated.

Until next time…

Christmas/New Year Wishes!

Christmas Tree

It’s been very quiet here at Trinity Comics for quite some time. The reality is, there hasn’t been much to report. I’m continuing to write new Wraith adventures behind the scenes, but that’s about it. Until those are completed and released, there really isn’t much to say. I can say that the next novel in the series, Swamp Witch of Satan’s Forest, is being worked on as we speak, and I hope to have this released by the end of 2015. Fingers crossed. Another Wraith novel, Sanderson of Metro, will hopefully also be released in 2015, or more likely early 2016. This will be an event release, first in hardcover, then in paperback. You won’t want to miss either new release.

Another book I’m working on is the first in an intended new series. Starflame will highlight the origin of a brand new character (though he’s been talked about here for ages now) and launch a new series. No release date, rough or otherwise, has been planned as yet. When it’s done it will be released. And, of course, there will be further books in The Wraith and Starflame series’ from there on. I also still hope to release the final ever Wraith comic book, Books of Judgment, at some point. So, still lots to look forward to 🙂

But, it’s the Christmas/New Year season, and I’d like to take this opportunity to extend the very best season’s greetings, from everyone here at Trinity Comics, to everyone out there reading this. To all our loyal fans/readers, my great thanks to you. My the festive season be a very happy and safe one, and I’ll see you all in the New Year, with more Wraith goodies! All the best!!
